Meet your Therapist

Jessica E. Bohemond, LCSW:

I am a humanistic and family systems oriented clinical social worker with 12 years of experience working in community mental health, federally qualified health centers and NJ public schools. I am dually licensed in NJ and PA as a therapist, certified as a clinical supervisor and a certified school social worker.

I specialize with working with multicultural, LGBTQ, co-parenting, foster and blended families; however, I truly enjoy working with all families! I support children, teenagers and their families to treat anxiety, depression, school- related concerns, cultural stress, ADHD, trauma, family conflict and parent-child related challenges.

I modify my approach to fit the needs of each client/family using different evidenced based practices that include, family systems therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion- focused therapy (EFT), person- centered therapy, and motivational interviewing (MI).

  • LCSW. With 11 years in community mental health and federally qualified health centers and NJ public schools. I am dually licensed in NJ and PA as a therapist and also certified as a clinical supervisor and as a certified school social worker.

  • Ever since childhood, I loved helping people. As I grew up, I learned how important connection within a family is in developing self-worth and confidence. In college it became my mission to serve and support children and their families in developing their communication and bond. Once I graduated with my masters in 2011, I began the journey to support young people and their caregivers- and never looked back! Nothing energizes me more than helping families thrive.

  • Helping families shift energy from frowns to smiles/laughs.

What families are saying about Jessica

“It’s so sweet - I am seeing my old daughter back. She seems much more carefree like she used to be. She is able to joke around, and laugh at herself more and she stopped shaming herself so much. My advice to other parents? Just do it, every minute you wait is a mistake.”

— Manatee dad

“The entire process was really simple and I appreciate the ease of it all. But most importantly, my kid ACTUALLY looks forward to every session! We love our therapist, the tool box and the family app that keeps us in the loop.”
